Introducing the MINI MAGNET POWER HEAD WITH CONTROLLER, a smart wavemaker that can create an ideal ocean-like environment for your saltwater aquariums. This 12V DC-powered, controllable wave maker is energy-efficient and safe to use, featuring a built-in LED display controller that enables you to mimic ocean waves by setting various flow modes, power, and frequency according to sunrise and sunset, day and night.
The smart controller allows you to customize the current, simulating ocean reef currents by continuously circulating water. The powerhead is easy to install and detach, with a magnetic-mounted 360-degree circulating water design that covers the entire tank. Available in two sizes, the 1600 GPH model is suitable for 3-25 gallon freshwater and saltwater aquariums, while the 2600 GPH model is suitable for 26-55 gallon tanks.
When setting up the wave maker, there are a few things to keep in mind. In the random mode (wave mode 4), the power and frequency cannot be adjusted, such as 1040, 2040, 3040, 4040, and 5040. If you set the wave mode to 3 (constant stream), the frequency cannot be adjusted, such as 5138, 5238, 5338, and 5438. If the powerhead runs in reverse, it means something is twisted around inside, and you need to take it out and clean the impeller.
The programmable power flow mode offers 5 periods of time, 4 levels of power (40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%), 4 flow modes (Classic Wave, Nutrition Transmission Wave, Constant Stream, and Random Wave), and 8 levels of frequency (from fast to slow, 1-8). If you encounter any issues, such as an Err7 code or the powerhead stopping, the solution is to take out the impeller, clean it, and restart the device, ensuring it is submerged at least 20 cm deep.
With the hygger Mini Powerhead Controller, you can customize the current to create an ideal natural environment for your coral to thrive. The smart LED controller allows you to set the wave pump's pulse, strength, flow modes, and even an auto-off feature for feeding time, all while operating quietly and efficiently.
